DEVICE FOR EXCISING CICATRICIAL TISSUE IN TRACHEA

DEVICE FOR EXCISING CICATRICIAL TISSUE IN TRACHEA

Abstract

FIELD: medical engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: device has end-finishing knife having arc-shaped cut in sharp edge. A rod is rigidly connected to the end-finishing knife. The rod has thrust flat area arranged in perpendicular to knife projection. The knife has longitudinal lateral safety rollers and is curved in its plane to fit trachea size and shape. The rod is bent at an angle of 45-50° 15-20 mm far from the knife. The end-finishing knife is 5-6 mm wide. Knife plane is bent along an arc of 7-8 mm large radius. The rod has curvature towards in the direction opposite convex part of the knife for excising cicatricial tissue on back surface of trachea. To excise cicatricial tissue on back surface of trachea, rod is curved in the same way as the convex part of the knife. ^ EFFECT: enabled direct fibrous tissue excision through incision in frontal trachea wall. ^ 2 cl, 3 dwg
