Abstract
FIELD: medical engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has working member having penetration depth restrictor member and holder designed as two ratchets. One ratchet is connected to the driving member. The other one is connected to the working member. Spring-loaded connection rod having stopper member is placed inside of the ratchets to establish rigid connection with ratchet and screw. The screw hinders connection rod escape from the other ratchet without hindering rotation. The working member has cutting edge and threaded part. The threaded part has measuring scale for setting penetration depth. The penetration depth restrictor member has two nuts one of which is lock nut. EFFECT: enabled drilling holes of preset depth; reduced risk of soft tissue injuries. 2 dwg
