Abstract
The invention discloses a device and a method for testing biomechanical properties of a tissue engineering vascular stent. Different parts of the testing device cooperate with each other to form a permeability measuring system, a compliance measuring system and an explosiveness measuring system. The permeability measuring system comprises an electronic peristaltic pump, a sample fixing device, a measurable liquid storage tank and a silicone tube; the measurable liquid storage tank is capable of recording seepage amount of the liquid and measuring the permeability of a vascular stent sample; the compliance measuring system comprises the silicone tube, the electronic peristaltic pump, a flow limiting switch, an optical measurement device and the sample fixing device and is capable of recording accurate values of the tube diameter of the vascular stent under different pressures and measuring the compliance of the vascular stent sample; the explosiveness measuring system comprises the measurable liquid storage tank, the electronic peristaltic pump, a pressure gage, the flow limiting switch, the sample fixing device and the silicone tube and is capable of measuring the destructive pressure of the vascular stent when the flow limiting switch is switched off and measuring the explosiveness of the vascular stent sample.
