Abstract
PURPOSE: A Demineralized bone particle (DBP) gel is provided to simplify preparation, to maintain gel form, and to ensure easy storage and biocompatibility. CONSTITUTION: A gel for chondrogenesis contains demineralized bone particle (DBP), pepsin, and acetic acid. The DBP is mammalian bone. The particle size of the DBP is 10-300 micrometer. The weight ratio of the DBP is 5-20 wt%. A composition for treating cartilage damage has pH 6-7.
