CRYOGEL SCAFFOLD COMPRISING SYNTHETIC POLYMER, POLYSACCHARIDE AND PROTEIN, AND TISSUE REGENERATION METHOD USING THE SAME

Abstract

The present invention relates to a cryogel containing synthetic polymers, polysaccharides, and proteins and a method for regenerating a tissue using the scaffold. Especially, the cryogel is obtained through cryogel method by mixing polymers of 2-hydrogxyethyl methacrylate (HEMA), alginate, and gelatin and has superior mechanical strength, rigidity, elasticity, cell adhesion and proliferation properties, and biocompatibility, thereby being used as a scaffold for tissue engineering. In addition, cryogel can be used to treating emphysema using a pneumonocyte-transplanted lung patch and used as a cardiocyte-transplanted heart patch or a mesenchymal stem cell-transplanted regeneration patch for treating myocardial infarction or degenerative disk disease.
