Abstract
The present invention relates to a composition for promoting direct crossing conversion comprising a decellularized extracellular matrix and to a method for direct crossing conversion into neurons or hepatocytes using the same. The composition for promoting direct crossing conversion according to the present invention comprises a tissue-derived extracellular matrix separated from a living body, and as the culture surface or hydrogel based on the extracellular matrix effectively provides a tissue-specific microenvironment, the direct crossing conversion efficiency can be remarkably improved, so that the present invention can be applied not only to various tissue engineering application technologies such as a culture platform for producing a cell therapy agent or a biomaterial for a transplant, but also to a toxicity evaluation and a drug screening field.
