23 Jul COMPARTMENT UNIT FOR CELL CULTURE AND ARRAY HAVING THE SAME
Abstract
PURPOSE: A cell culture compartment unit and an array comprising the same are provided to use in tissue engineering cell culture and stem cell differentiation. CONSTITUTION: A cell culture compartment unit comprises: a bio material releasing region comprising cell culture region and cell culture medium; a piezoelectric element of porous of porous membrane of the cell culture region; a thin film for cell adhesion, which is able to settle cells thereon; and a first power source for applying a first electrical field to the piezoelectric device. The cell culture medium is supplied to cells by moving to the cell culture region through the porous membrane. Each cell culture compartment unit comprises two different bio materials.
