Cinnamic acid derivative-based amphiphilic block copolymer and preparation method thereof

Abstract

The invention relates to a cinnamic acid derivative-based amphiphilic block copolymer and a preparation method thereof and belongs to the technical field of functional high-polymer materials. The preparation method comprises, through melt phase polycondensation and transesterification, preparing poly-3-hydroxycinnamic acid (P3HCA) homopolymers of different molecular weights from 3-hydroxycinnamicacid (3HCA), performing acylating chlorination on the tail ends of molecular chains of the P3HCA homopolymers; then through an atom transfer radical polymerization method, preparing poly-N-vinyl-caprolactam (PNVCL) and poly-2-dimethylamino-ethyl methacrylate (PDMAEMA) with terminal hydroxyl groups, and subjecting the acylated-chlorinated P3HCA and the PNVCL or PDMAEMA with the terminal hydroxyl groups to reaction to prepare a poly-3-hydroxycinnamic acid-b-poly-N-vinyl-caprolactam (P3HCA-b-PNVCL) and poly-3-hydroxycinnamic acid-b-poly-2dimethylamino-ethyl methacrylate (P3HCA-b-PDMAEMA) block copolymer. The prepared cinnamic acid derivative-based amphiphilic block copolymer is amphiphilic, photo-responsive and temperature-responsive, achieves good structural stability and biocompatibility and can be widely applied to fields such as drug delivery, tissue engineering, biology and agriculture.
