Abstract

The invention belongs to the technical fields of nanometer bio-composite materials and tissue engineering, and discloses a chitin whisker/chitosan nanofiber double strengthened biodegradable polyester fiber composite material as well as a preparation method and application thereof. The preparation method comprises the following steps: treating chitin whiskers and biodegradable polyester by adopting an electrostatic spinning method or a 3D printing forming method to obtain a chitin whisker strengthened biodegradable polyester fiber scaffold, and introducing a chitosan nanofiber network into the fiber scaffold by utilizing a thermally induced phase separation method to obtain the chitin whisker/chitosan nanofiber double strengthened biodegradable polyester fiber composite material. According to the preparation method, the composite material with the structure that the chitin whisker strengthened biodegradable polyester fiber scaffold is provided, and chitosan nanofibers penetrate in the fiber scaffold and a fiber surface layer is obtained, has the ability of good hydrophilicity, excellent mechanical properties, good cell affinity and promoting healing of bone tissues, can be applied to the biomedical field and has good application prospect by particularly serving as a bone tissue repair material.
