Abstract
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cell isolation device having no complicated passage in it and needing no valve mechanism to be cleaned or sterilized. SOLUTION: An device and a method for cell harvesting, specifically, a device and a method for dispersing cells from a tissue for a medical or research purpose. The present invention achieves the rapid isolation of cells, and reduces time and cost for the production of autologous cells. The cells are needed for an autologous tissue or in tissue engineering in a research. The present invention is also used for separating a cell dispersion containing various sizes and types of cells from a disintegrated tissue body which has been digested in advance. Further, a basic part of the device and a method for using the device are also provided.
