BONE REGENERATION SCAFFOLD COATED WITH FIBRONECTIN/OSTEOCALCIN FUSION PROTEIN

Abstract

The present invention relates to a bone regeneration scaffold comprising hydroxyapatite coated on the surface of a polymeric scaffold, and a fibronectin/osteocalcin fusion protein bound to the hydroxyapatite. The present invention also relates to a method for preparing the scaffold. The scaffold of the present invention may facilitate the adhesion and maintenance of bone cells, and may improve the differentiation of osteoblasts, and therefore can be effectively applied to bone tissue engineering and regenerative medicine.
