Abstract

The invention discloses a copolymer of polyethylene glycol and polyester containing cyclic ether side groups. The copolymer is characterized in that the copolymer of a BAB type, a (AB)1-40 type, a C-(AB)3-24 type or a C-(BA)3-24 type is formed by a hydrophobic polyester block A containing the cyclic ether side groups, a hydrophilic polyethylene glycol block B and a compound C. The copolymer can be independently assembled in a water medium to form nanoparticles used for entrapping drugs, protein, polypeptide and polysaccharide; and furthermore, when the mass content of the copolymer is 10 percent to 50 percent, the copolymer can form in situ gel in the water medium at a temperature of 10 DEG C to 60 DEG C, and the gel is used as a carrier of in situ injection treatment and can provide gel matrices for enzyme immobilization, cell culture and tissue engineering. The invention has the advantages that through adding the polyester containing the cyclic ether side groups, the crystallization performance of the copolymer can be regulated, the preparation is simple, and the manufactured copolymer of the polyethylene glycol and the polyester containing the cyclic ether side groups has various application prospects.
