23 Jul BIOREACTOR FOR GROWING TISSUE ENGINEERING STRUCTURES
Abstract
FIELD: biochemistry.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of biochemistry. Bioreactor for growing tissue engineering structures is proposed. Bioreactor comprises a support, two electric motors and a chamber with transparent walls and hermetic lids. Chamber includes tubes for inflow and outflow of liquids, a unit for fixing samples, a detachable sealed inner chamber and a piston. Piston has a groove for the inner chamber and holes for fixing the detachable piston adapters. First hermetic chamber cover is removable, has a central through-hole for securing the fixing part and through-holes for passing the tubes. Second hermetic cover of the chamber is fixed immovably and on the outside has a groove for transferring rotation from the motor shaft. In the zone of the central hole, a groove is formed on the inside of the detachable cover to fix the inner chamber, a corrugation is fixed, and a detachable assembly is attached to the corrugation for fixing the samples. Assembly is mounted on the support for converting the rotation of the motor shaft into a reciprocating motion of the assembly for fixing the samples, the chamber being fixed to the detachable inner bearing ring mounted on the support.EFFECT: invention provides fixation of samples of various types, lengths and diameters, as well as the optimum correspondence of the volume of the bioreactor chamber to the dimensions of the fixed sample.7 cl, 24 dwg
