Abstract

The present invention relates to a biodegradable scaffold comprising spirulina and a manufacturing method thereof. The biodegradable scaffold comprising spirulina according to the present invention can be used for developing skin cell-derived extracellular matrix (ECM) biomaterials by restructuring artificial skin tissue three-dimensionally or via decellularization, and can be used as a scaffold for tissue engineering in various fields as the biodegradable scaffold has no cytotoxicity and has excellent effects of enhancing cell adhesion and cell proliferation.
