23 Jul BIODEGRADABLE AND POROUS POLYMERIC SUBSTRATE FOR TISSUE ENGINEERING AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME UTILIZING BOILING MIXTURE
Abstract
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a biodegradable and porous polymeric substrate intended for tissue engineering use, suppressed in the pore closure phenomenon on the surface thereof and in harmful substances’ secretion and remaining phenomenon, simple in production process, capable of regenerating all of the tissues and organs in a tissue engineering way, by utilizing a boiling mixture, and to provide a method for producing the above polymeric substrate. SOLUTION: This biodegradable and porous polymeric substrate for tissue engineering use is obtained by the following process: using a biodegradable polymer solution comprising a boiling mixture, a polymeric test piece is prepared and then boiled in a boiling medium and thereafter dried.
