23 Jul Bacterial cellulose/emu oil composite membrane and preparation method thereof
Abstract
The invention discloses a bacterial cellulose/emu oil composite membrane and a preparation method thereof. The composite membrane is formed by mixing bacterial cellulose and emu oil, and the emu oil in the composite membrane is uniformly dispersed in a bacterial cellulose nanofiber matrix. Hexadecyl trimethyl ammonium bromide is used as an emulsifier, the emu oil is emulsified and then is mixed with the bacterial cellulose, and the emu oil serves as a strengthening material and a bacteriostatic material for the mechanical property of the cellulose membrane in the composite membrane; the thickness, the mechanical strength, the bacteriostatic effect and other properties of the composite membrane are regulated and controlled by controlling the mass ratio of the emulsifier to the emu oil to be(0.1-2):5 and the soaking time and temperature of the bacterial cellulose in the emu oil emulsion. The method is simple, and the prepared composite membrane has good biocompatibility and can be usedas an antibacterial material applied to the fields of tissue engineering, biosensor coating materials, cosmetics, skin care products, medical dressings and the like.
