Abstract
The invention relates to an artificial trachea and a manufacturing method thereof, which belong to the field of biological medicine and particularly relate to the technical field of artificial tissue engineering tracheae. The artificial trachea has the characteristics that: a support is weaved from poly(p-dioxanone); a film consisting of small intestinal submucosa inner layers is covered on the outer surface of a netlike round tube; and a collagen coat is covered on the outer surface of the film and on the inner surface of the round tube. The manufacturing method comprises the following steps of: weaving the netlike round tube from the poly(p-dioxanone); uniformly enclosing and wrapping the outer surface of the round tube by using the small intestinal submucosa inner layers, and suturing; vertically inserting the round tube into a narrow die groove, and infusing solution of collagen; and standing, pre-freezing, performing freeze-drying and forming. The invention has the advantage of providing a tissue engineering trachea, namely the artificial trachea, which has high biocompatibility and degradability and plays an important role in inducing and promoting the regeneration and restoration of a tissue structure for a chest trachea surgery.
