Abstract
The invention discloses application of a high-expression indica type promoter in indica rice, and belongs to the field of plant genetic engineering. The promoter is an OsAAP4 genetic indica type promoter has a sequence as shown in SEQ ID NO.1. The genetic indica type promoter has higher activity than that of a japonica type promoter in each tissue part of japonica rice by respectively constructingOsAAP4 genetic indica type and japonica type promoters-GUS transgenic plants and mutually detecting and comparing the GUS expression activity, and strong expression of a downstream gene in multiple positions of japonica rice can be strong started. The OsAAP4 genetic indica type promoter is applied to the japonica type rice transgenic engineering, and can be used for promoting expression of the downstream gene in each growing stage of japonica rice, specifically accumulating or enriching expression products of other target genes and improving the whole expression quantity of genes in rice, sothat the promoter has an excellent application prospect in transgenic engineering.
