ANTENNA APPLICATOR FOR NON-INVASIVE MEASUREMENT OF TEMPERATURE OF INNER TISSUE OF BIOLOGICAL OBJECT

Abstract

FIELD: radio engineering, communication.SUBSTANCE: antenna applicator for non-invasive measurement of temperature of inner tissue of a biological object comprises a waveguide section (1) closed at one end, which is partially or completely filled with a dielectric material (2). A dielectric plate (3) for contact with a biological object is placed at the opposite open end of the waveguide section (1). The electromagnetic wave excitation device of the antenna applicator is in the form of a metal conductor (4) and a power divider (5). The conductor (4) is placed on the dielectric plate (3) on the side of the closed end of the waveguide (1) and is arranged in parallel to the wide lateral wall of the waveguide (1). Inputs of the power divider (5) are electrically connected to opposite ends of the conductor (4), and the output of the power divider (5) is the output for connection to a wireless thermometer.EFFECT: high accuracy.3 cl, 5 dwg
