Alginic acid/PEDOT (poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene)) conductive porous stent and method for preparing same

Abstract

The invention discloses an alginic acid/PEDOT (poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene)) conductive porous stent and a method for preparing the same. Stent materials for the alginic acid/PEDOT conductive porous stent include covalently cross-linked alginic acid which is used as a substrate, poly-3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene granules are further formed in the substrate by means of in-situ polymerization, and accordingly the alginic acid/PEDOT conductive porous stent has conductive characteristic. The alginic acid/PEDOT conductive porous stent and the method have the advantages that the conductive porous stent materials can be prepared by means of one-step forming, the method is simple, and the alginic acid/PEDOT conductive porous stent contains homogenous and controllable components; the formed stent materials have excellent conductive characteristics and controllable mechanical properties, and the protein adsorption capacity of the alginic acid/PEDOT conductive porous stent with the PEDOT components can be obviously improved; more importantly, the porous stent materials prepared by the aid of the method are excellent in biocompatibility, adhesion and growth of diversified cells can be supported, the myocardial cell differentiation capacity of stem cells can be regulated, and accordingly the alginic acid/PEDOT conductive porous stent and the method have potential application prospects in clinical transformation for myocardial infarction treatment by myocardial tissue engineering.
