Abstract
The invention discloses a promoter which can regulate specific expression of genes in non-secreting type glandular hairs. The nucleotide sequence of the promoter is shown as SEQ ID No: 1. The promoter is an AaPDR3 gene promoter. The promoter can be applied to genetic engineering breeding where plant non-secreting type glandular hair tissue is utilized for expression and production of metabolite. The invention also discloses a vector and an expression kit containing the promoter. The promoter also lays a foundation for deep research on growth and development of the non-secreting type glandular hairs and metabolic regulation of the secondary metabolite in the non-secreting type glandular hairs, particularly research through the AaPDR3 gene promoter proAaPDR3.
