23 Jul A method for preparing a high-strength temperature-sensitive flexible actuator
Abstract
A method for preparing a high-strength temperature-sensitive flexible actuator is disclosed. The method includes two steps, namely a step of preparing a high-strength temperature-sensitive flexible actuator material and a step of molding the high-strength temperature-sensitive flexible actuator. The temperature-sensitive flexible actuator comprises hydrogel formed by crosslinking a temperature-sensitive monomer that is N-isopropylacrylamide and synthetic lithium magnesium silicate. The actuator has ‘closing-expanding’ and ‘grasping-releasing’ functions under temperature control. When the temperature of the environment when the actuator is rises to a certain extent, the structure of the actuator changes to form a ‘closed’ phenomenon, and when the temperature of the environment when the actuator is decreases, an ‘expanded’ phenomenon is formed by the actuator. The actuator has high mechanical strength so that the actuator can be repeatedly operated, and the actuator has a wide application prospect in the fields of flexible robots, tissue engineering, medicine carrying and releasing, sensors, control switches, micro-valves, and the like.
