Abstract
The present invention comprises a cross-linked structure for tissue regeneration and engineering and the method for synthesising same comprising hemicellulose, carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC) and hydroxyethyl cellulose (HEC). The subject matter of the present invention is the provision of a cross-linked structure for tissue regeneration and engineering formed from polymers of natural and sustainable origin with a pore size consistent with the natural tissue to be imitated, which stimulates tissue growth, and which allows integration of the tissue into said structure to be controlled or directed. A method for synthesising a cross-linked structure for tissue regeneration and engineering using polymers of natural and sustainable origin is also provided.
