23 Jul Epiderm substitute in tissue engineering and its prepn process
Abstract
The epiderm transplant of the present invention includes one membrane layer of 50-500 micron thickness and containing chitosan and gelatin in total amount of 90-100 % and weight ratio of 3/7-9; and one main epidermal layer on the membrane layer and containing epiderm cells in the density of 10,000-1,000,000 /sq cm. The present invention also provides the preparation process and use of the epiderm transplant. The epiderm transplant of the present invention has the advantages of excellent mechanical performance, simple operation, short preparation period and fast wound healing.
