Abstract

Using collagen (A) of aquatic origin, particularly from the skin of teleost fishes, to prepare carriers (B) for tissue engineering, is new. Independent claims are also included for the following: (a) (B) prepared from (A); and (b) biological material (C), formed as reconstituted connective tissue or skin, prepared from (A).
