Abstract

The invention relates to a method for inducing the differentiation of mesenchymal stem cells into smooth-muscle like cells by cardiotropin; human marrow mesenchymal stem cells are induced to differentiate into smooth-muscle like cells; the mesenchymal stem cells are transfected by recombinant eukaryotic expression plasmid containing cardiotropin genes; the eukaryotic expression vector comprises pEGFP, pcDNA or pCMV; the method comprises the following steps: separating and extracting human marrow mesenchymal stem cells, constructing recombinant eukaryotic expression plasmid containing cardiotropin genes, transfecting cells by the recombinant eukaryotic expression plasmid containing cardiotropin genes, and inducing the differentiation of human marrow mesenchymal stem cells into smooth-muscle like cells. The invention can provide new cell sources for tissue engineering blood vessels, provides new theory and experimental basis for the committed induction and differentiation of mesenchymal stem cells and clinical applications, and provides new models for the development and screening of related medicaments.
