Abstract

The invention belongs to the gene engineering field, and discloses a method for obtaining a new transcription splicing form of an RPGR gene. Firstly, ribonucleic acid is separated from tissue; a specific oligodeoxyribonucleic acid primer fragment is designed, and cDNA fragments are amplified by a reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction. Through cloning, screening and sequence analysis, a new transcription splicing form existing in the RPGR gene transcription process is confirmed, that is, the fifth to the eleventh exons are deleted, and the fourth exon is directly connected with the twelfth exon; the original translation reading frame of the gene is maintained. The splicing form has not been reported at home and abroad. The invention provides important information for the understanding of the expression and functions of the RPGR gene.
