MULTIPOTENT MESENCHYMAL STEM CELL CULTURE RECOVERED FROM BOVINE FATTY TISSUE (Medulla ossium Bos taurus) FOR PURPOSES OF VETERINARY SCIENCE, CELL AND TISSUE ENGINEERING

Abstract

FIELD: medicine.SUBSTANCE: invention refers to veterinary medicine and biotechnology, and concerns a bovine multipotent mesenchymal stem cell (MMSC) culture. The presented culture is recovered from the bovine fatty tissue, possesses the properties and characteristics of the mammalian multipotent mesenchymal stem cell, contains no impurities of hematopoietic and endothelial cells; it is able to be preserved in the culture for a long time and to form the cells of other tissues in induction in vitro: bone, muscle and fatty ones. The described cell culture is deposited in the Special Collection of passaged somatic cell cultures of agricultural and food animals of Kovalenko All-Russian Research Institute of Experimental Veterinary Science (SHZh RASXN), No. 80.EFFECT: culture may be used in regeneration and repair of tissues and organs of agricultural animals, in studying of the infectious mechanisms at the cellular and tissue levels in vitro; furthermore, the presented cell culture may be used for pathogen growth in vitro.1 tbl
