ELECTRONSPUN POLYMER/PHOSPHOLIPID POLYMER/RAPAMYCIN BLENDED FIBERS

ELECTRONSPUN POLYMER/PHOSPHOLIPID POLYMER/RAPAMYCIN BLENDED FIBERS

Abstract

Nanosized holes generated in electrospun nanofibers can supply oxygen, nutrients, growth factors etc. to the tissue. The present invention relates to an electrospun nanofiber structure of first poly(L-lactide-co-caprolactone-co-glycolide)(PLCG). PMB30W and rapamycin are contained, and mixed polymer soluble in water is added to PLCG after solvent mixing and electric spinning. The electrospun PLCG/PMB30W/rapamycin mixed fiber has a stable nanostructure without a chemical cross combination while being cultured in a buffer solution. The characteristic of the PMB30W and hydrophobic rapamycin natural material can stabilize the electrospun PLCG/PMB30W/rapamycin mixed fiber under physiological conditions. The electrospun PLCG/PMB30W/rapamycin mixed fiber might be better for artificial organs of tissue engineering.
