23 Jul COMPOSITION FOR ADHESION OR PROLIFERATION OF DENTAL PULP CELLS COMPRISING RECOMBINANT DENTIN PHOSPHOPROTEIN
Abstract
The present invention relates to a composition for catalyzing adhesion or proliferation of dental pulp cells containing dentin phosphoprotein as an active ingredient and a method for inducing adhesion or proliferation of dental pulp cells, including the step of treating dentin phosphoprotein in dental pulp cells. With the recombinant human dentin phosphoprotein which can be produced in bulk using an expression vector, the proliferation of dental pulp cells can be catalyzed, the cell adhesion capability can be improved, and the differentiation of the dental pulp cells into odontoblast can be catalyzed. Therefore, the recombinant human dentin phosphoprotein can be widely used to catalyze proliferation and adhesion of the dental pulp cells in development of tissue engineering materials associated with recovery and regeneration of teeth and bone tissues, medicines for regenerating dental bones, and medicine and medical supplies.
