Tissue regenerating scaffolds containing hydrophobically-functionalized mesoporous nanocarrier and preparation method thereof

Abstract

The present invention relates to a tissue regeneration scaffold containing hydrophobically surface-modified mesoporous nanocarriers, and to a production method thereof. The tissue regeneration scaffold of the present invention can accommodate a large amount of hydrophobic drugs by means of a mesoporous nanocomposite surface-modified hydrophobic group and a matrix containing polycaprolactone (PCL), and also controllably releases drugs contained in the scaffold at consistent speed for a long period of time. Since the tissue regeneration scaffold of the present invention is capable of increasing osteogenesis differentiation effects required during bone repair and regeneration, the tissue regeneration scaffold can be applied to bone tissue engineering as a therapeutic scaffold associated with osteogenesis.
