3D printed embeddable double-layer PCL (polycaprolactone) slow-degradation tissue engineering tracheal stent with incomplete tracheal ring and application of stent

Abstract

The invention relates to a PCL (polycaprolactone) slow-degradation tracheal stent. The stent comprises an outer stent and an inner stent, wherein the outer stent is a hollow C-shaped circular tube, the inner stent is a hollow circular tube, a hollow C-shaped ring is arranged on the outer surface of the outer stent, and the inner stent is embedded in the outer stent. The invention further providesa slow-degradation tissue engineering trachea and an application thereof. The tracheal stent has the advantages as follows: the tracheal stent is completely bionic in terms of organizational structure, the outer layer is tracheal cartilage, and the inner layer is ciliated columnar epithelium, tracheal toughness is achieved, expectoration capacity is maintained, and the incidence of infection aftertransplantation can be reduced; moreover, the tracheal ring is incomplete, has growth potential and can be applied to minor organisms. The tracheal stent can be made into any diameter, and can meet individualized requirements. The PCL stent can be degraded in vivo completely and slowly and is non-toxic to bodies.
