Abstract
The invention discloses a tissue culture breeding method for kapok. The method comprises the following steps: (1) obtainment and treatment of an explant; (2) callus culture; (3) bud culture; (4) rooting culture; and (5) seedbed management. The method can be used for realizing tissue culture of seedlings for the kapok, compared with traditional seed propagation or grafting propagation, the tissue culture is more conducive to realizing engineering culture of seedlings, and the survival rate of tissue culture seedlings is high and the way of thinking for the breeding of the kapok is further broadened.
