Abstract
The invention belongs to the field of genetic engineering, and in particular discloses applications of a conditional knockout PRSS8 gene in constructing a spontaneous coloproctitis and colorectal cancer animal model. According to the applications, through the conditional gene knockout technology, the animal model only with the intestinal tissue having the PRSS8 gene deletion is constructed, the animal model spontaneously has coloproctitis within the age of three months, and along with the increase of age, the coloproctitis develops into intestinal adenoma and adenocarcinoma. With the model, direct evidence is provided for disclosing the importance of the PRSS8 gene, and more importantly, the model can provide an important tool for tumor prevention and anti-inflammatory and anti-cancer drugtests.
