Abstract

The invention discloses a co-culture method for improving chondrocyte proliferative activity and maintaining cartilage phenotypes. The method includes: step 1, chondrocyte separation and culture; step2, separation and culture of mesenchymal stem cells; step 3, proportional inoculation and co-culture of the mesenchymal stem cells and chondrocyte in a culture vessel. By co-culture of the mesenchymal stem cells and the chondrocyte, proliferative capacity of the chondrocyte can be improved, seed cells can be provided for cartilage tissue engineering, and laboratory data can be provided for development of bioreactors.
