23 Jul Method for preparing pH sensitive xanthan gum/polyvinyl alcohol hydrogel
Abstract
The invention relates to a method for preparing a pH sensitive xanthan gum/polyvinyl alcohol hydrogel, which belongs to the technical filed of preparation of a medical material, and solves the technical problems of poor biocompatibility of a synthetic hydrogel and poor stability of a natural hydrogel. The preparation method comprises the steps as follows: (1) a PVA pure solution is poured into deionized water and heated and stirred to obtain a PVA dilute solution; XG is added to the PVA dilute solution and stirred to obtain an XG/PVA mixed solution; (2) cooling the XG/PVA mixed solution to room temperature, and adjusting the pH value of the XG/PVA mixed solution with a NaOH solution; adding a crosslinking agent to the XG/PVA mixed solution for a crosslinking reaction, and then pouring themixed solution into a mold; and (3) placing the mold in a refrigeration apparatus for freezing and unfreezing for several times to obtain an XG/PVA hydrogel. The XG/PVA hydrogel prepared by the process steps provided by the invention has good biocompatibility, good stability, certain mechanical properties and controllable pH sensitivity. The hydrogel can be used to control drug release, tissue engineering scaffolds and skin excipients.
