23 Jul A noise modeling method for ultra-fast imaging system based on balance detection
Abstract
The invention provides a noise model building method of an ultrafast imaging system based on balanced detection, which comprises a modeling method noise obtained by allowing amplified noise of an erbium-doped fiber amplifier, noise of an optoelectronic receiver, crosstalk noise between symbols of a balanced detector, the amplified noise and noise of the optoelectronic receiver to be subjected to low-pass filtering. By analyzing the above noise models synthetically, the system noise model is established to obtain the signal noise power of the balanced detection output, and then the output signal-to-noise ratio. The system noise model can be applied to the ultra-fast imaging system based on spatial light modulation. In this system, the noise power of the whole system is obtained by analyzingthe noise model, and then the corresponding imaging effect is analyzed. The imaging effect can be improved by adjusting the parameters appropriately, so that the output image of the system can be clearer. Therefore, the application value of ultra-fast imaging system in laser fusion, biological tissue and cell detection and other engineering fields is enhanced.
