Abstract
A method for preparing a gelatin-stearic acid composite gel belongs to the technical field of functional materials and solves the problem of defects existing in the prior art in the use of gelatin andstearic acid alone. A certain mass fraction of gelatin aqueous solution is heated to dissolve, then a certain mass ratio (gelatin: stearic acid) of stearic acid is added into co-solvent ethylene glycol to dissolve the stearic acid, the two are fully stirred and uniformly mixed, and finally a certain amount of cross-linking agent citric acid is added to react at 60 DEG C for a certain time, and then the gelatin-stearic acid composite gel is obtained by freezing-thawing method. The gel of the invention can combine gelatin and stearic acid organically, the prepared gel is uniform, and the mechanical strength is increased compared with that of the pure gelatin gel; the raw materials used are all metabolic intermediates with good biocompatibility and non-toxicity. The preparation process is simple and the conditions are mild. It can be used as drug sustained-release carrier and tissue engineering material, which expands the application range of gelatin.
