Method for relieving toxic and side effects of vaccinia virus through haliotis discus discus sialic acid binding (HddSBL)

Abstract

The invention relates to the technical field of genetic engineering. The toxic and side effects caused in the process of treating tumors through a vaccinia virus need to be effectively relieved. The invention provides a method for relieving the toxic and side effects during treating of the tumors through the vaccinia virus by carrying a haliotis discus discus sialic acid binding (HddSBL) gene, andfurther provides the vaccinia virus carrying the HddSBL gene. Through animal experiments, it is confirmed that HddSBL can reduce the side effects caused in C6 animal models by the vaccinia virus andprolong the survival time of mice; and the HddSBL relives the toxic and side effects during treating of the tumors through the vaccinia virus by reducing release of tumor tissue IL-2 induced by the vaccinia virus.
