23 Jul 2-ethoxycarbonyl-2-methyl trimethylene carbonate and its preparing process
Abstract
A 2-ethoxycarbonyl-2-methyl trimethylene carbonate and its preparing process are disclosed. It is prepared from 2,2-dihydroxymethyl propionic acid through esterifying and loop-closing reaction to obtain the said carbonate, and it can be used to synthesize the biodegradable/absorbable polycarbonate with good biocompatibility and containing function groups. The said polymer can be used for release controllable medicine, tissue engineering and gene therapy.
